Taman Negara, which simply means “National Park” in English, has existed for the past 130 million years and is acknowledged to be one of the oldest rain forest in the world. The bulk of park lies between 75m and 300m altitude ( 250-1,000ft ), fringing the central highland core that rises to be the summit of Mount Tahan, which is 2187 meters (7186 ft), ranking the highest peak in Peninsular Malaysia.
As the first and oldest officially protected area in the country, Taman Negara was originally called King George V National Park declared in 1938 by the Sultan of 3 states of Kelantan, Pahang and Terengganu. Upon King George’s Silver Jubilee and to preserve the land’s indigenous nature in perpetuity, it was gazetted separately by each state’s Enactments in 1938-1939. The park was renamed Taman Negara after the nation gained independence in 1957. Taman Negara is the largest of all protected areas in Peninsular Malaysia with 4,343sq km. The Pahang section of the park is the largest at 2,477sq km, followed by Kelantan’s portion at 1,043sq km and Terengganu’s at 853sq km.
Cameron Highlands stands at 1524 meters above sea level, enjoys a cool climate, with temperatures rarely higher than 25°C and low than 10 °C. In 1929, John Archibald Russell, who was the son of a British administrative officer started a tea plantation which is now the famous BOH Tea Plantation. BOH stands for Best of Highland. The other tea plantation was established in 1932, by the Shuparshad family and known as Bharat Tea Plantation in Cameron Valley brand. Cameron Highlands is the nation’s prime producer of fresh vegetables such as carrot, chili, cabbage, cauliflower, brocolli, brinjal, tomato, green beans and more. Fruits such as strawberries, apple, orange, watermelon and much more. Flowers such as rose, carnation and jasmine. Cameron Highlands is situated in Pahang, which is the largest state in Peninsula Malaysia. It has a land of 36,000 square kilometers, much of which is undeveloped and covered by tropical rainforest. Cameron Highlands is the smallest district in Pahang, covering an area of 443 square kilometers. It is positioned close to the border to the north. It is made up of 3 main township at different elevations. The first town you’ll see coming from the South is Ringlet, followed by Tanah Rata and Brinchang. There are few small town such as Tringkap, Kuala Terla and Kampung Raja which going towards Northern part of Malaysia.
Featuring an interesting and exciting mix of cultural, historical and natural attractions, Penang well deserves its nickname of ‘Pulau Mutiara’ (Pearl Island). Dubbed ‘The Pearl of the Orient’ by foreign traders back in the olden days, Penang is well-known for its old-world charms as well as a superb selection of local cuisine which Penangites claim can’t be duplicated elsewhere. Despite being a small island, it offers plenty of sightseeing opportunities as well a chance to sample its culture and heritage; regardless of whether you prefer to spend some time with nature or learn about its history, Penang will enchant you in more ways than one.

|Day 2: Kuala Lumpur (B/L)|
|Begin the day with a tour of this bustling city and immerse yourself in the city’s character and charm. See the city’s iconic landmarks including the King’s Palace, National Monument, Independence Square and the famous Petronas Twin Towers. Sit back and enjoy a panoramic drive along the classy streets that reveals the contrasting sights of modern skyscrapers and colonial architecture. Step back in time with a short stop at the National Museum*, a fascinating centre dedicated to Malaysian history and culture. Later, pick up some souvenirs and chocolates during your visit to a handicraft centre and a local chocolate boutique.

|Day 3: Kuala Lumpur – Taman Negara (B/L/D)|
|Check-out from hotel. Pick up for transfer at 7.30AM. Transfer from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Tembeling jetty from where you will be guided for boat crossing to the park. Reaching the park, settle in to Rain Forest Resort, your home for two nights. With time freshen up and unpack, we take you this evening to explore the surrounding forest on a night-time jungle walk.

|Day 4: Taman Negara (B/L/D)|
|Take in the area’s outstanding natural beauty on today’s tour, trekking through lush rainforest with a chance to walk across the canopy walkway and enjoy breathtaking views of the forest from dizzying heights. In the afternoon, board a river boat to the cascading waterfall of Lata Berkoh where you will have the chance to swim in the clear waters of the fall.

|Day 5: Taman Negara – Cameron Highlands (B/L)|
|Had farewell to your jungle adventure and return by boat to Kuala Tembeling jetty and journey to the fascinating hill stations of Cameron Highlands, ceated in colonial times. Arriving at the foothill of the highlands, begin your ascend through the mountain road, lined with giant tree-ferns and indigenous homes. Upon arrival in the highlands, check-in to the hotel, your home for two nights. Today breakfast is included.

Overnight at Strawberry Park Resort or Similar (Twin/Triple Sharing)
|Day 6: Cameron Highlands (B/L)|
|Take hold of the cooling scenery of the highlands on an independent exploration. Start the day with mounth brinchang tour which will take you to the hill top of cameron highlands. Explore the mossy forest follow by tea plantation. You have your lunch break. After lunch, continue visit the pretty rose garden, strawberry farm, cactus valley.

|Day 7: Cameron Highlands – Penang (B/L)|
|Leaving the higlands behind, depart for penang driving down the mountain road. En-route stop at Ipoh and visit the Sam Poh Tong Temple. Later, drive north to Kuala Kangsar, the Royal Town of Perak and visit the Ubudiah Mosque, one of the most beautiful mosques in the country, Make ta photo stop at the Iskandariah Palace and Istana Kenangan. We will visit mangrove forest and charcoal factory.
Proceed our journey to Penang Island, check-in the hotel, your home for two nights. Free & easy.

|Enjoy the best of Georgetown on a sightseeing tour featuring Anglican Church, Kuan Yin Chinese Temple, Mahamariaman Indian temple and the Kapitan Kling mosque. Visit Khoo Kong Si. For an insight into the state’s history, visit the State Museum, built in 1821, housing a fine collection of old photographs, maps, charts and other historical relics. Visit to Wat Chayamangkalaram, a Thai temple which houses a 108 feet long Reclining Buddha. Visit Kek Lok Si 7 stories Paggoda Temple. Entrance tickets are included.
The remainder of the day is yours to independently explore further or relax at the hotel.

|The final day is free for you to enjoy the island and finish any last-minute shopping or sightseeing that you might need to do before heading to Kuala Lumpur or KLIA airport for your flight home. This last day arrangement can be change according to your requirements.|
