The Lake Gardens, also known as Taman Tasik Perdana, is Kuala Lumpur’s oldest and most beloved park, dating back to the 1880s. The Lake Gardens also include the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, Orchid Garden, Hibiscus Garden, Deer Park, and Asian Garden.

The Butterfly Park in Kuala Lumpur is home to over 6,000 butterflies and is designed to mimic their natural habitat, with more than 15,000 plants from over 100 species. The park also houses a nursery and breeding area for butterflies and an insect museum with interesting exhibits.

The Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is known worldwide as the largest covered bird park or free-flight aviary, housing more than 3,000 birds from over 200 species. The park, located within the Lake Gardens, is a beautifully landscaped bird sanctuary established in 1991.
